A small group of people from the Bitterroot went to Missoula on Saturday to demand an end to the "lockdown" policy implemented in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic, otherwise known as a normal flu season. Banners and individual signs which read, "No More Lockdowns!" were used to promote the groups message.
The event, organized and sponsored by Stand Together for Freedom (www.standtogetherforfreedom.com) was held in conjunction with a world-wide protest (https://worldwidedemonstration.com/) in more than forty countries against the continued practice of lockdowns to (supposedly) protect people against the transmission of the corona virus. There is a large and growing backlash to the policy and we support the efforts of freedom-loving people everywhere to bring this disastrous overreach of power to an end.
The group congregated on and near the metal pedestrian bridge near the south end of Reserve Street and drew considerable attention and support from passers-by,
including horn-honking, thumbs-up gestures, and the occasional police car siren. Numerous people stopped to talk with the demonstrators and to express their appreciation for the effort.
Face of Freedom, which provided many of the signs, will be working with Stand Together for Freedom to organize a larger event on May 01, 2021 at the intersection of Reserve St. and Mullan Rd., in Missoula. Stay tuned for details.

Another gorgeous day in the Bitterroot and another good turnout of people who are determined to have their freedom from the Covid controllers. Approximately sixty people participated in the second event of this nature held this year in Hamilton, MT, including one family with numerous young children. As before, passing traffic showed overwhelming approval of the message promoted.
Roger Mitchell, originator of Face of Freedom, which sponsored the event, said this. "There was a spirit of exuberance here today and a general sense of friendship and optimism among the group. Numerous comments were made about taking this to Missoula and we are going to seriously consider that as a future event. Missoula residents who might be interested in working with us should contact us to get the ball rolling."

Sponsored by Face of Freedom, the street event known as Proclamation of Freedom went off without a hitch Saturday, January 16, 2021, in Hamilton, MT. The event consisted of about fifty people who lined both sides of the main highway through the city while holding signs like those shown. The weather was gorgeous (40 degrees and sunny) and the street traffic very approving, with the vast majority honking their horns, smiling, and waving to show their support.
Spokesman for the group, Roger Mitchell said, "This was a beautiful day in the Bitterroot. Dozens of people showed up to declare that they are here, they are free, and they are going to make their voices heard. Everything went well, there was no trouble from anyone, and the message was sent--loud and clear. We are not going away and we are not going to be quiet."
The event was covered by NBC News, KECI 13, a local TV broadcast station. The full article can be seen here.
